Week of Prayer – 6-10 January 2014

Monday Lunch Time

Joshua 1 v 10 & 9

Plough the land, get the horses out, harness the plough, plough the ground. – Prayer walk Merley and Corfe Mullen through House Groups using Psalm 24 v 7-end.

Picture of chandelier, crystal cut facets, when brought together the effect is amazing, it looks good with the light off but with the light on it gleams and when turned up it is dazzling, magnified almost too bright to look at, we are that chandelier with the light of Christ in us, with the rays going outwards to places we don’t yet know.

Yeast – bringing influence and change, towards other churches, seeing and taking every opportunity to mix with other Christians.

Picture of road stretching ahead with a bright light ahead, closer you get the brighter it becomes. This is the road we are on, the journey, we don’t know what the destination will be like but there is a bright light. As when you are driving at night, when a light comes towards you you tend to look away or swerve or slowdown. On our journey, don’t slow down, don’t look to the left or right, don’t swerve away, what’s at the end will be different from what we expect – the Lord is looking for those who will not stop. Our expectation is not big enough.

The light affliction shall win so great a prize.

Picture of P&G on the beach with little spades digging in the sand. Crabs came and picked up the sand and were taking it away to build something, a structure that appeared to grow tall. The crabs were the fellowship, we are building but not sure what it is. Saw a bit of the sand fall away and underneath was the face of Jesus, whatever we are building, Jesus is in it.

Preparation, the Lord wants us to be cleansed and washed – purity, seeking Him

God is giving us the broad outline, don’t just run with the broad outline, but take every “detail” to Him at each stage.

Lyrics of song “take my life into your hands”

Repentance and obedience

I’m going to extend it.  Your blessings – I’m going to extend them and increase them.  Blessings which you will pass to others – those that I bring to you.  For I have given you little and you have used it wisely and now I will entrust you with much, for I know you will continue to seek the counsel of Wisdom and be guided by her in the use of what I give you.

Thank you for honouring Me by furthering My Kingdom here on earth.  Know I AM with you always.

Summary

1 of encouragement – God is pleased with us……so far

2 challenges – get clean and get of your behinds

1 warning – Don’t get distracted.

He is not going to let us get away with it and some may feel uncomfortable, Matthew 5 29-30, its our choice not His punishment.

Monday evening

Double dig the land. Why? Because it gives a better crop (African garden project), in context of ploughing the land, don’t just prayer walk once.

Saw a huge cauldron, enormous, filled with oil, oil for anointing, it was suspended and as such could be moved.  In order to be tipped out, it had to be swung back and forth.  Our actions, both good and bad, created or stopped the movement, both corporately and individually.  Your actions, good and bad, will affect not only you but the whole fellowship.

White swans.  Appear calm on the surface but going like the clappers underneath, it’s OK to be seen to be struggling.

Saw us all worshiping in the open.  As the worship gets greater our arms were raised, we were moving, dancing, going in circles joined up together like a whirlwind, gathering up people of like minds and the junk was thrown out.

Picture all together in a barrel.  The barrel broke up but we all held together.

Picture of rapids – white water – prepared for this amazing journey down the river.  There is no stopping or going back, we need to listen to the helmsman who knew the river.  We will get wet.  There will be periods of calm where we can rest, repair and have reflection but there is only one way – down river.  The scenery is indescribable and if we have time we may see it.  We need to focus on the job in hand, pull together and enjoy the ride.

James 1:2.  Sense we may well be in for two or three major challenges which will challenge our life together.

Saw a picture of roof tops, tall buildings, mountains with a finger pointing at the top.  It’s about the top and getting to the top.  Holy Spirit is at the top where like Moses you enter the Glory Cloud, hear and see God, and shine on the way down.

All standing at the foot of the cross, as we looked up, He stepped down, bloody, He touched our heads and said “Trust in Me.  Trust in My promises, they are true”.

Saw the galaxy.  Was shown wonders as yet unseen, new, thought to have been the fellowship, trust in Me even if you don’t understand.

Street (like a Lowry picture) narrow and dark down to a harbour where there was a glorious sunset with the words “The sun never goes down here”.

Aeroplane on a runway but it only has enough fuel to take off.  Don’t take off without more fuel.  We have the more fuel and others will want to join us to have it too.

Afterburner.  He wants to give us the extra power.

Genesis – beginning – six days – do you honestly think there is anything that can stop Me doing anything, I want you to understand.  We must never lose who we are serving and the awesomeness of who He is.  He will protect keep and hold us.  We need to be as wise as serpents and trust Him. “I love you lot.  I don’t want you to go away”.

Picture of a dark cave and a fuse is lit.  It brings light but it is a fuse to an explosive.  What you thought was helpful may not be.  These are the fuses of sin, debt, alcoholism etc.

Picture of rain, water, rivers but it brings flooding, sewerage etc.  He wants to send His rain to wash out our rubbish but then shut the door and don’t let it back in.

Job 40, no justice, this may be how we feel, are we becoming self-righteous, take the plank out of our own eye.  Don’t light this fuse.

I love you with an everlasting love.

Picture of a door with light behind it and the Lord wants to roll back the darkness.  Drawn to lots of little churches in darkness and the Lord wants to roll the light in.

An idyllic pastoral scene that was then ruined by the addition of people - this is not a true picture of life.  Life will have its problems.

Tuesday Lunchtime

Acceleration.

Cable car as it goes round it goes up and down.  The warning is don’t get off at the bottom.

Let the river of love flow through you.

Rest in the Lord’s love – compassion for others, bare one another’s burdens.

Fisherman’s net is a lot of nothings tied together with string.  Even when we feel like a nothing we are not we are not when tied together.

Stillness (not inactivity).  We need to know Him.  It’s our primary function.  We choose to do it.

Calmness, peaceful.  Stay calm in all situations.

Picture of a teapot.  Have a posh one – don’t use it very often – it looks good.  I have an old chipped one for daily use.  Jeremiah 1:17-19.

Chrysalis, as I watched a beautiful butterfly immerged.  James 3:16.  We will all be at different a level - doing different things - that’s how the body of Christ is made up.  Don’t look at others, be yourself, it’s how I made you - both individually and corporately.  James 3:17.  If you are who you are, you will see the Kingdom come into being.

Tuesday Evening

Peace and Rest

Choices

Picture of the Father with Jesus watching – pleased with us and then Jesus got up and danced.

The Game – “What’s the time Mr Wolf” – where Jesus was the wolf.  As He turns instead of running away we wait for Him to catch us.  He picks us up and cuddles us.

A Chess game.  Manoeuvring us into position to be in place for the anointing you have or have had.

Total peace.  Taking away and lifting off all cares and concerns.

A waterfall – encouraged to walk behind for rest.  Inside you get colours of the rainbow.  The fellowship is all dripping wet but at peace.

Above the cloud the sun is still shinning.  Never changing.  In the peace we are lifted up above the weather to the all-consuming God.

River of life.  River in me, stream of living of water, abundance and overflow, keep looking at Him.

Power of the weather - the power of the Spirit - falling at His feet.

Peace like a river, joy like a fountain, saw the back of a red coat, like we were all soldiers.  And having done all to stand (Eph. 6).  Soldiers to be inspected come fully armed, clothed and ready for war.  This should be our natural state to be ready for war.

Neh. 6   They were trying to take him from the task in hand – in our case the place and pathways where we are supposed to go – focus.

Picture of being in the presence of the Throne with angels intermingled, some kneeling, some dancing, some painting, and some singing – peace.

Wednesday Lunchtime

Press in.  Philippians 4:7

You can’t do anything I’m asking you to unless you get closer to Me.  You are not as close as you think you are.  Don’t give up – press in.  Pull your finger out, read the Bible, get stuck in.

We have freedom to speak.

Glory in the church Eph. 3, John 17, Isaiah 6 – God will not share His Glory with another but in Hebrews it says “you are one with God” ie you are not another.

Philippians 1:9-11

Feeling of being on an old fashioned steam train – it needs coal and water.  Times when we have prayer and quietness etc are the times when we are picking up the coal and water ready to move again.  Joel 2.

Malachi 1 – the purity of offerings to God – rend hearts not clothing Joel 2:10.  God is not interested in burnt offerings.   Hebrews 10 and Psalm 40.

Wednesday Evening

Come in the water is lovely.

Look at the swollen rivers.  Those who have gone into them have been swept off their feet and away.  So it is with My River.  You will be swept off your feet “come in the water is lovely” – don’t be afraid – Go Deeper.

Picture of fire – a white hot and devouring, consuming fire.  God’s Kingdom is on its way.  With Abraham’s covenant he split the carcasses in two and fire consumed them – God’s Holiness, Righteousness and Sovereignty.

Stone jars in a row – different sizes – signifying the fellowship.  They were tipped over and liquid spilt out.  Get ready to be poured out.

A new wave of the Spirit is coming, a wave of consuming fire, bringing refining and cleansing.

Consuming fire – volcano pouring out lava, burning around us and over us, burned up the dross, we are not to fear - we will be filled with fire by Him.

Picture of a galleon waiting out at sea and the only way it can come in is when the time and tide is right.  God says when the time is right it will be an action that is unstoppable – the tide is powerful.

I have heard your praises, they have come before me as sweet smelling incense and I am inclining my ear to hear your prayers.

I love your company – please come again soon.  You don’t really have to leave.

Royal robes, whether you deserve them or not is irrelevant.  They are given by Him and are the authority to do what He says to do.

Angels are being released from Heaven right now to bring that which is in Heaven to earth.

Fire is being released with the Angels.  Not small camp fires but raging infernos which will burn up everything in its wake that does not bow the knee to Jesus.

Eagles are being released from Heaven to bring out those who belong to Jesus heart and soul.

The room was being filled with water and when it was filled up we sank.  We developed gills.  We didn’t die but lived, new born and started flying.

Picture of Eagles – God is saying come fly with me.

Surrender all – so easy to sing but what does it mean to us?

Peace

Two doors  - huge – in heaven.  The doors were open with such a light behind them which was the Lord’s army on the move.  An army of angels is leaving heaven and God’s voice saying “I’m coming”.

Thursday Lunchtime

“Don’t let it ……”    I was straight away back where I was last night and felt God say “Why did you wait, don’t let it steal your joy”.  Do you believe it?  Was yesterday for yesterday or today? Hebrews 3:7

Whiteness – 3D white – it felt like the inside of an iceberg and I had the words “sing a new song”.  I am the God who brought order out of chaos, harmony out of disharmony, peace out of noise, I AM the Great I AM there is no other than Me.  Fall on your knees and worship.  I AM your greatest friend.  I AM your redeemer.  I AM your salvation.  I AM your king.  I AM, I AM.  Sing a new song, live in the reality of the now (old song, old reality), sing a new song in the reality of IAM.

Gentle lapping waves of love.  In the natural waves come about every 8 seconds and waves of God’s love come into our lives.

As I was watching I saw two legs walking.  It looked easy and comfortable and correct and I felt God say our life is hidden with Christ in God.  We have to stay hidden and the two legs are rest and worship, rest and witness.  One leg hidden in rest and one leg is everything else He asks of us.

Holy Spirit says thank you for setting time apart.  You are sons and daughters well placed.  This is the year of the secret place – where He is taking us to a new level with new strategies from Him both individually and corporately.

Picture of the fellowship holding hands and dancing in a circle with Holy Spirit - unity with Him and each other.  Some were doing cartwheels, handstands and gymnastics - in the natural it is not possible but in the spiritual all things are possible.

2014 will be a year of Supernatural increase and blessing and a year of multiplication     1 Cor 2:9.

Winds of change – with the UK wind and rain – USA wind and snow – Australia wind and fire – Philippines rain, wind and fire.  God has sent rain to us – the natural mirrored in the spiritual.  In the USA He is freezing it.  In Australia it has been cleared, a time for new growth.  In the UK flooding for those who want to be flooded spiritually.  He wants us to soak up all the time because there is a time of dryness coming.  Ezekiel and the time of dry bones when He said prophesy to them.  Isaiah 32:15 and Joel 2:28.   Be aware in a dry place - be aware of mirages – don’t get desperate.  In the dry prophesy to dry bones.

Let your light shine in the darkness.

Red – indicates blood, danger and beware be prepared like the five virgins – don’t cast your pearls before swine

10 – the number means Law and Restoration

Opening doors – They are unlocked and ajar – we need to choose to push them, even though we don’t know what is behind them and step through.

Psalm 10 – It’s not us it’s Him.

Thursday Evening

Jude verse 2, 24 & 25.

Do you believe it?  Was yesterday for yesterday or today?  Are you ready, are you clean, are you dressed with your armour on?  If not get ready, get clean and put your armour on.

Isaiah 62:2.   I’ll give you a new name, we are Lionhunt Christian Fellowship but God is giving us a new name – Bethlehem – the House of Bread.  We are to be fresh bread and daily fresh bread to be diligent fresh bread, to feed on Him and to feed other people who will come seeking bread.  Picture of a flagpole with the House of Bread on it.  He will direct people to the bread shop.  We are always to be ready with fresh bread daily.

Picture of a circle of geese waiting for the farmer for food but bread came down from Heaven.  We need to be hungering and thirsting ready to eat.

Picture of a misty morning on the quay at Poole.  You could not see anything.  As the sun came out it cleared away.  This is the clutter in your life and the Son will lift it off.

Light clouds, dark dwelling very near.  “Don’t compromise”.  Pile of dustbins on top of each other with the command “Put your rubbish in them”.

Picture of a man up to his waist in water – the rain is falling the water is rising.  Grot is being lifted off as the water of the Spirit rises.

We are the light of the world – we are a beacon.  Picture of us in a circle and in the midst of us a volcano erupts.  The lave clears us out and refills us with Him.  John 17.

Psalm 21:2

A picture of different sorts of ships, from liners to yachts and a picture of different types of flowers in a garden.  Each has its own purpose; do not be envious of others.  Large ships need tiny tugs to tow them out.  Don’t think because we are small we are not significant.

Friday Lunchtime

Hebrews 10:19-25 especially 25.  What does that look like for us?

Picture of an old fashioned alarm clock with the hands ticking around - when you are watching it 5 minutes seems forever, keep praying, don’t give up.  Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t.  Keep praying believing that it will.  Call that which is not as though it were – into being.  Pray always believing for the best.  Trust, believing it will be so – it is only a matter of time.  I AM beyond and outside of time.

James 5:7.   Be patient until the Lords coming.  Stand firm.  Perseverance.

You created by inmost being – Psalm 139:13-16   Jeremiah 1:4-12, each one of us is specifically and uniquely formed to do unique things for God.

Lyrics of song – Beautiful Saviour and the concept of the Potter’s hand.

Defend yourself and be watchful.  Unity.  Psalm 24:7-10.  Psalm 98 – Sing to the Lord a new song.

Eccl 3:1-13.  There is a time for everything.  God has allotted time.  Nothing has been or will be that He doesn’t know about.  This time of prayer He knew about before the beginning of time and everything we have said and prayed He already knew.  But we had to choose to do it.

Picture of a rose – as it gets closer to the sun the bud opens and its beauty is revealed and its perfume can be smelt.  As we get closer to the Son we too will open up and draw people to us with our beauty and fragrance which comes from the Son.

Do not strive.   Matt 11:28-30.   Don’t beat yourself up.  Take rest in Me.  Take My yoke upon you and discard the burdens that the world has laid upon you.

Friday Evening

There is freedom through and in the worship to pray, speak, sing and dance.

Rev 4.

In Hebrews it talks about the Israelites moving with the cloud.  We have a paradox of standing on an immoveable rock that moves.

Picture of when we were singing of us really going for it but there was a barrier, a fence, I saw the Glory right in the centre and heard the command to keep pushing in the barriers will give way.  Press in.  Pitch a tent – stay here – you can.

Hear the start of a roar.  It’s coming from our worship causing the ice to melt and allowing the river to flow.  His roar will increase as we continue.

Persistence is the Key.  Jesus is saying keep pressing, knocking, giving Me no rest.

Psalm 105 – He is a lamp unto our feet, providing the lamp has oil.  We will have the lamp to guide us through.
