Looking back at 2012 prayer weeks:- (the comments in italic came from us giving thanks for answers to the words/pictures/visions He gave us in the weeks of prayer 2012.
Forest – Don’t worry about what it look like, keep your eyes on Me and I will lead you through, you are together for My purpose, I will do it, a tree produces apples without straining we must let Him do it.
Even though it may appear as though we have come together for our own reason we now see that it is solely for His purpose, very aware that He is leading the programme, we only moving when He moves.
Face – our priority is to seek His face individually and corporately, with joyful abandon, is He really number one in our lives?
We see ourselves drawn to His face, following Him. He has been changing us, everyone of us has been changed through the last year, for the better, hang in there.
Hidden – He is keeping us hidden until His time is right, our responsibility is to be ready, keep clean.
How do people know where we are, there were 23 people there Sunday and 8 away.We are being seen for who we are – people of God, they are drawn to His presence, we must not become complacent with what we have, but recognise it and give Him thanks and glory.
Tide – slowly almost imperceptibly coming in but it is coming in, I am much bigger than you can imagine, what will start as a gentle wind is coming as a hurricane, jet plane.
We need to look back at where He has brought us from and we will see how far we have come, the hurricane is not here yet, but the speed is picking up.
Blessing – His wish is to blessing us abundantly, walk in it, don’t be afraid to use your gifts.
Work answers, home answers, healings, weekend away, rivercamp, RT (Mike and Rachel), new Christians ( Chris and Terry), many blessings that God has lavished on us, but we ain’t seen nothing yet.
Unity – He has placed a rope around us, protecting us and binding us together, help those who are faltering.
Support from one another, in the fellowship, in home groups, confidence to step out knowing that the rest of the fellowship is there behind you. We are becoming empowered as both a group and individually.
Sea – rough waves ahead but He will calm the sea and bring us to safe haven, He will protect us.
The way we have reacted to things has poured oil on troubled waters, our reaction to others comments etc, God has protected us.
Bus – he has determined the bus we are on, others will fill that bus to overflowing with hangers on, all sorts of shapes and sizes.
God has kept us steady on the bus direction He has for us, our challenge coming is to keep to it as more join us.
Eyes – Open your eyes and see that the harvest is ripe., be brave.
Love box – as a fellowship we have got behind Kate and Rod’s vision, without an outlet to give it away, but we held fast and then were able to react when needs presented themselves.
Street people (Lauren and Steve) when presented with a need we reacted, others have joined in, but we need to wait for Him to move before we do more and not get carried away. His timing.
Overall – Each point starts with the fellowship, God has been teaching us, growing us, encouraging us, opening our eyes whilst on the bus, blessing u, protecting us, hiding us, focusing on Him in readiness for what he wants. As we have learnt corporately he has allowed us to take it out into schools, workplace, family etc, with a growing confidence.
Tuesday January 8th
– Having looked back it felt right to wait on God and hear what He was saying about the new year/season. The followings words and picture are in no particular order. It does appear as if He is saying we are moving from a time of preparation to one of revelation.
Having returned from Disney World the last ride we went on was the “Tower of Terror” but it felt as though God had brought that to mind but compared it to the Twin Towers. No matter what happened on the Tof T we were strapped in and safe at all times, whereas at the TT people were leaping to their deaths in terror.. Felt God was saying that people will see us as a people who are safe and be drawn into His presence and be saved. Prov 18 v 10.
Hot Springs – picture of bubbling mud with spectators, people who travel miles to see them. We are going to be a joyful people – characterise us – we will be known as a joyful people – in the same way the spurts of mud fly out of the bubbling cauldrons – sparks of joy will breakout among us and reach others. Hebrews 1 v 9, Jesus was anointed with joy more than anyone else (Ps 45)
Narcissus (fell in love with his own reflection) 2 Cor 3 v 17, Jesus is falling in love with His reflection in us. As we contemplate we reflect Him. Ps 34 v 5 and Is 64 – our hearts will swell and throb with joy.
Is 62, for Zion sake I will not keep silent, the splendor is to be seen.
Saw a light in the darkness coming towards me it grew larger and larger realised it was a light on the front of a train, as it got closer the noise became very loud. When this happens people come out to see or turn to look, felt God was saying we will be like the train, people will come out to watch or turn to look.
High waterfall (South America) beautiful to watch but under it everything gets wet as it splashes down, we will be like the waterfall splashing out over everyone.
Noah’s Ark – going in 2 x 2, felt God say even the smallest is there for a purpose.
A helicopter flew over and the noise became intense, the Holy Spirit will hover over us and all will see and hear.
Joshua 1, this is my command be brave etc. Stand on the rock that is Jesus and be counted for me.
Picture like tic-a-tape parade but with banners being waved along the route, people looking out through windows lining the street. White horse with rider wearing a crown with the name of God written all over Him. Rev 19, the King was coming to visit His castle, the fellowship is the castle, “behold I am coming” prepare the banqueting table, put watchmen on the doors, in the picture he didn’t arrive and wont until we are fully prepared – seek my face to find out what you need to do, prepare your hearts.
Brothers in unity Ps 133, “My peace I give you not as the world gives” Picture of pruning shears cutting off a branch.
Revival, reviving, the body, us, He will put meat on the bones, God is healing the land, picture of someone in a hospital bed with a drip, does not all go in at once but slowly, His is doing it but at His pace. Ps 85 restore favour to the land.
Wait and be patient I am listening.
Be healed within and you will be healed without.
“I am the one who you call God. I am able to do anything and everything. I know you. Nothing about any of you is hidden from me. I am the one who make the wind blow and who makes them stop; the one who makes the fires burn and puts them out; the one who makes it rain and the one who stops the rain; the one who makes the sun to shine and the one who hides the sun. I am. I know your thoughts I know your deeds I know of what you speak. My word to you tonight is that it is time to get serious to look for my way and walk in it. To look to those around and see me at work. I am all powerful and I am choosing to use you as my conduits as my conductors. In a little while you will see me move in a way that is beyond all that you could do in your own strength but I will work through you individually and together to bring about my desires for this time. You are in a time and have been in a time of preparation but that soon is coming to an end. Are you ready? Are you willing? Because I am more than able to finish what I have begun in you and through you. My blessings are being released to you all and I will protect you as I make you visible to those around you. You are my children and I am your father. Know that I love you.
Thursday January 10th
Two words given by people who couldn’t make the meetings
Paint brush full of paint and when it was run down a wall the paint came off and stuck to the wall, we have all we need and God will use us.
Picture of the floods and cars stuck in them, cars that needed rescuing. Felt God was saying He wanted to rescue His people.
Thursday – felt God say He wanted to speak to us, some of which will be for the future i.e. prophetically.
Don’t be afraid, you will get out of your comfort zone, ride with me (on a horse) but let me steer, have fun.
Picture of a railway steam engine, full of steam racing along with smoke flowing out. Men on the footplate working hard, carriages behind full of people overflowing having fun. Felt God said you need to keep the fire going to keep the engine running or the train will stop. The fire is commitment, keep going,
Picture of a person (woman) lying down, saw the hand of God come down towards her, whether to wake her up, heal her or raise her from the dead was immaterial, but the hand stooped and felt God said, no, I want you to do it.
Luke 8 16-18, no-one light a lamp and hides it under a basket.
Picture of a belted waist. The belt was too tight and needs to be let out, as a church we will be filled to bursting, then saw foot bridges radiating out from the church with people going out over them (not in) there was a hive of activity, felt God was saying I am sending you out to far flung places, saw a city or town with a large church/cathedral.
Picture of an abnormal load coming towards us, there were lots of preparation involved with lots of planning and lots of people doing g different jobs. Felt God was saying “what is your role? Personally seek my face for your role” 1 Cor 12 14.
Provison – He will provide for all our needs – even if it is just the words we have to say.
He has given us all we need to do all that He is asking of us and that it is time to begin to use it.
We need to use the authority we have in Him as we make a stand. He is saying we need to know our authority. We won’t have time to look and find out what it is. He is saying know who you are in Me. That I live in you and work through you. Know that you have the same authority as my son Jesus learn to know my voice so that you will know when it is I who am speaking. Just as my son did. As He heard and saw so He did.
As you do this so my signs and wonders and miracles that you seek will come.
Children of mine I long to work through you in this way that others will know and see me.
Friday
– Following a time of celebration and praise and thanksgiving for how God has spoken to us over the week, we listened some more.
Step it up:- following on from praying pre-service setting the ground and foundations, continue with this and then also as you drive, walk to church pray your route. If you can take alternative routes. Pray on those roads, claim them in My name that My will be done on earth as it is in heaven, increase the intensity of prayer on the roads to the community centre. I saw today this road streaming with people walking towards the fellowship. Pray in the car park claiming it for me. Be intense about it – unceasing in prayer and worship. I saw as we all came from different areas the pavements were lit up and were paved with gold as we prayed and continued with it. Rev 21 v 19 Foundations – God’s promise to us as we continue to pray He will lay the foundations – those precious stones . We are putting in as we spend time there and pray over it and into it. As we pray when we are not there about it, we are laying the foundations. Rev 21 v 21 b the street of gold, like transparent glass.
Militant picture – castanets of metal, lot of laughter in heaven, about the noise of the castanets, the noise is the armour of God on the saints of God as we are riding with Jesus at the head, we are one half of the castanet dressed in the armour of God and with Jesus within us. The other half of the castanet is the angelic host riding with us, difficult to tell who is who, waging war against anything that is against Jesus, in us, around us, in the world.
Boat – sleek looks the part, thing of beauty to the boat community, engine with low no of hours on it. The Lord says, I’ve put an engine in you – made you beautiful, use the engine, don’t be like the boat (low hours).
Star gazing – aware of the vastness of the universe, and outside of it all the Lord is looking in, He made it all.
Slippers – warm cozy, snug – warm love in the fellowship, but there is work to do, slippers with a hard base, harder wearing, God is our cobbler, go back to God to maintain this optimum functionability.
Leather – has to be oiled else it crack – need the HS to keep us soft.
Huge Lion – coming straight at me, huge legs, paws, mane , with angels riding it, running towards. It is the Lion of Judah he has left heaven and is on His way with the armies of heaven coming with Him.
Gentle white horse going across a blue sky – time is short, urgency to get going, get out of your comfort zone.
Authority, kigdom authority, to speak and proclaim, speak healing speak to the lost.
Ps 40 v 8 – His DNA instructions are written into our heart, he is going to decode them so we understand them.
Don’t be surprised if I challenge your ideas and thoughts. I want you to be like my son, be open, willing and teachable.
Be joyful – rest and get prepared.
God cares and loves you He will not abandon you.
How can anything hold you back with God in you.
We are His disciples so stand firm in the word of God.
