Prayer Week June 2011
Tuesday 14th
Following a time of waiting on God these words were shared:-
Every flood starts with small drops of rain – don’t despise the day of small beginnings
I saw an angel moving around the room, every now and again he would stop in front of someone and ask the question “Why?”
Everyone should pray for everyone everyday
Jesus command – love each other – particularly in small group (the fellowship) which will be characterised by graciousness within and without.
Picture of sailing ship that needs the tides to enter and leave the harbour, but new boats with powerful engines can manoeuvre at any time. The sailing boat is the way of the world that people like are “taken along with”, we need the Holy Spirits propulsion with Father at the helm so that He can manoeuvre us as He wants.
Song our saviour can moves mountains, we need to know which mountain to move, if go for them all then we will miss out on the specific moments He has for us, we need revelation to know which ones to move.
Golden road, long and straight, bright and shining, we need to stay on this road, it is the road of truth, whatever happens whatever tries to deflect us we must stay on the road and not get dragged aside
Relationship, with Him, with each other, real openness and honesty and love, if we really knew Him we would be gracious towards each other, Its Him doing it not us. But honesty costs, true relationship means making ourselves vulnerable, vunerability demands love, mercy and self control from everyone else, God wants to do something special here but will need us to put off ourselves and put on Him.
Stop being busy and concentrate on Him
Acts 15 1-11, controversy over circumcision, thoughts, 1 God is circumcising our hearts, 2 need not follow the ways of everyone else, just Him.
Picture of the back garden, represents the fellowship, it needs watering, tending, nurturing, sweat and love to aid good growth. We are all workers in the garden, each having a different job – we need to seek God’s face for our specific job / calling.
As with analogy of the body, we cannot all be eyes or ears etc…as that would not create a whole. Do not see what others have i.e. gifts etc and wish for them as they will not be the same for you, seek your own gift to use in the garden. Some will plant, others will feed, others water, others support ( Phil and Gill, those here and those coming in). If we all water we will destroy, if no-one plants there will be no growth, if we overfeed the harvest will come to soon. No support, then shoots will bend (not strong enough to support themselves). As the garden grows in depth and strength and beauty and colour God will bring more (people). Four seasons in the year, some stages seem bleak i.e. winter, but winter brings time of rest. The earth needs rest to bring forth new crops in spring. In the winter we don’t see what is happening underground. At times like this we need to rest. It is good to rest. Do not feel you should always push, push, push. If we do not seek our gifts we may compromise others as we will not be supporting them but burdening them (That doesn’t mean we don’t pray for each otherand care for them) It means that we each seek God’s face for ourselves. (Hangers on, to another person will cause us to grow weak, this is the devils plan to pull each other down).

No stopping and starting – you’re either full on with me or not at all. The decision is yours. Its time to get serious, no more playing. I need your full attention, I need to be allowed to be part of you, I need your full attention at all times in all places, in all situations. Play acting will get you nowhere, I see into your heart, I know you, I am calling you, will you listen, will you follow. Time is short – I am coming. Its time to get serious and decide.
Malachi 1, time to bring in the pure offering and not one with blemishes.
Drawn together into two areas of prayer
1. The fellowship and how we come together and support one another
2. That we all stay on the same road, and support each other on it.
Wednesday 15th
Stop hiding, my world is hurting
Eccl 3, for everything there is a season, picture of a barren field, only way to get yield is to put the plough into it. The Lord is putting the plough into the fellowship so that things will grow.
Picture of a coracle being tossed on stormy seas but it doesn’t sink. There are even greater trials and challenges ahead of us, of the Father – He is equipping us for the future work. We are all in the boat, what happens to one happens to all. He holds the fellowship in His hands, no one is lost overboard unless we loose the focus on Him, then that individual may find themselves “discarded” “moving on” for the greater good, but out of love to do no damage ( e.g. someone may feel they can’t take the heat and therefore want to leave to go to another church, this will be done with full blessing). Is 43 v 2, The disciples in the boat when they cried out to Jesus, they were safe, so will we be when we cry to Him.
Picture of waterfall, God’s grace, the more we go through the harder it gets the more grace He will pour down on us, God’s peace, same effect. A stone, God is a solid foundation. Walk with Him, don’t go it alone. He wants to bless us for our dedication, “I am doing a new thing, soon you will look back and all will become clear”.
Bun with sesame seeds on it, one without, both look same but the sesame bun tastes different, God is going to flavour us, He wants to add seasoning to us.
“I am the east wind”.
Big bright light, the Glory of God, keep your eyes on it, keep it in front of you, it has more than the world can offer.
Ps 23, lying down and walking beside still waters, a restoration time.
Picture eagle flying high, then feeling of looking down on a multitude of beings, angels or people couldn’t tell, but they were all praising God.

Beginning of the Song of Solomon, and the vulnerability of kissing, very intimate, this is how God wants to react with us.
Hebrews, new covenant, through the blood of Christ the righteous can live by faith.
Picture of huge cactus, large leaves bending outwards out of the centre comes the stem and a flower, then of a banana peeled back, things aren’t always what they seem. The skin of the banana is bitter but the fruit is sweet, the leaves of the cactus are prickly and hurt but the flower is beautiful also inside the leaves is water for survival.
Picture of a long narrow boat, like a rowing eight, long enough to accommodate all of us and it grows to accommodate those who join us. Thinking of the boat race, the crew needs a cox to steer, this is the pastors, but the people are pulling the oars, everyone has to pull in unison behind the pastors and trustees else the boat will go round in circles. The pastors lead and the work is done by everyone. The Father Son and Holy Spirit work together, so must we, keep focused on Him.
Sense of excitement. What is God about to do? Are we ready? Are we willing? Without question?
Saw the angel from the previous evening but this time standing in the middle of the room with an enormous sword, looking around at us all, the question was the same , Why? But feeling that God is ramping up His response to ours.
Saw pyramid of people, held up by Phil and Gill riding a tandem, the people turned into birds, and as a flock took off.
Feeling of heavy holiness of God.
Thursday 16th
Could see angels flying between us and heaven, when asked God said they were delivering the words for us….because we can be trusted.
“I want to teach you more, I want you to know how to stand, when to fight and when to trust and believe”
Discernment
Only by grace can we enter, its all Him nothing of us.
Picture of a white swan, calm on top but paddling like mad underneath, god says you don’t need to work it up, be totally at peace in me.
Saw painting or doodling with eyes closed, so have no idea what is being produced, in heaven there is a masterpiece produced by God about our life, don’t worry about lifes problems, but keep on doodling and father will create the perfect masterpiece.

See a treasure chest full of good things, we are like little children around it, playing and full enjoyment amazed at the abundance of the riches of His grace
Authority of Christ in us, huge tree blowing in the wind, bent double, when God blows even huge trees bend.
“I walk with you”, Elijah and prophets of baal, Elijah knew that God would burn up the sacrifice, he knew exactly what would happen. Our God is mightier than any other god, He will imbue us in this authority. The great I AM in us – enabling us to do it.
Saw an angel with a sword, touching us, like knighting us, as touches –anointing of power and authority,not just an honour like a medal to be looked at, but an anointing to be used.
This is a new season of power and authority, to walk with Him.
Saw angels of fire flying across and over, the exhaust of a rocket as it takes off, God is going to send fire but not to burn but to give us power – dunamis power.
He is saying “seek my face, learn to trust me in all situations. My fire will not harm you, it is for you to use. It is my power for you to defeat all who come against you. As you seek me you will find me (Ps 27). You will know my will. You will see my footsteps and know where to follow. Learn quickly my children, time is short. Learn to trust me and seek me at all times, not just in your quiet times but throughout the day. Learn how to use my powerthat I am sending to you. You have found favour in my sight. I see into your hearts, I know your desires. To do good and not evil, to lift my name on high. I delight in you. I have chosen you my own my beloved. The fiore I am sending you will not harm you but you will only receive itif you are willing to use it as I lead you”. Ps 52
Picture of a window with a curtain pulled open, the gentle breeze is blowing and moving the curtain gently, - this has been a recurring picture . Moses and Israelites – 40 yrs in wilderness, yet God supplied their every need. God told me to look in Phil and Gill's garden again, I noticed that things had moved, there was a pigeon in the tree, a yellow flower, pink roses, I didn’t see those things on Tuesday when I first had the picture of the garden and God giving us tasks in it. God’s revelation will come by His spirit. How we are meant to move etc. Israelites moving from slavery in Egypt into desert! They were not impressed. This was God’s purpose and plan – they complained, What would we do? Its time to break chains, to come out of slavery, whatever and however that appears for each of us. May not be relevant to all. Don’t be surprised if you are then in a “desert” place – God’s purpose – He can minister deeply here and replenish and fill if we let Him. As with the Israelites’ He gave them all they needed. Full circle. Back to the window with one added thought, none of this can take place until the window has been opened, This is our choice, God doesn’t want to force us or coerce but the time is right it’s now and remember the breeze is gentle and soothing. Exodus 4, they wouldn’t believe Moses. Moses was always questioning, never sure he’s right. God held his hand.

Ps 55 22 Be honest and upright
Cuckoo, first sign of spring, not a pretty picture, cuckoo pushes the other chicks out of the nest to get the parents full attention. This a new start and He wants all our attention. He wants to nourish us and feed us to get through the next stage. To get through we must pay Him full attention. The cuckoo is now an endangered species as there are not many about now, we are like that, there are not many of us that are listening to Him we are precious to Him

Pearl of great price
The “why” question – don’t need to stress, its there, ready to hand.
Mushroom swaying, blue and mauve, “it doesn’t need to be like that” unlock your heart, saw it change to reds and oranges vibrant colours, “ if you open up your heart I’ll come in like a wind”.

Personal commitment to go with God at any cost, based on “are you ready, are you willing, will you open the window, will you open your heart, he wants us full-on”.
